The first Bypass Surgery in the Maldives

The first Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), more commonly known as Bypass Surgery, in the Maldives, was carried out at ADK Hospital on 08th August 2018. Alhamdulillah, the surgery was completed successfully on a 54 years old Maldivian man who presented to ADK Hospital with a heart attack.

ADK Hospital signs an MOU with MV Medicals to start medical tourism in the Maldives.

ADK Hospital endeavors to introduce medical tourism in the Maldives. In the ceremony held at ADK Hospital today, an MOU was signed between MV Medicals and ADK Hospital to mark the official start of this ambitious venture. The purpose of signed MOU is to start medical tourism in the Maldives in an organized manner. The role of MV Medicals will be to market ADK Hospital in other countries and attract patients

Ramadan Mubarak

The Hospital takes this opportunity wish everyone a very happy and prosperous Ramadan. We wish to inform all customers that the first of Ramadan will be observed as Hospital Holidays. General OPD services will be available but Specialist services will not be available on this day. The hospital will resume normal services on from the second day of Ramadan (17 May 2018).

    May 12, 2024 - Nurses day events every year is held to honor the dedication and hard work of nurses around the world. We, at ADK hospital, began the celebration of nurses’ week with a healthy home-made breakfast on 6th May 2024. Invitees from all the departments of the hospital took part in this event. The essence of the event was to uplift the spirit of inclusivity, appreciate nurses and their contributions while fostering a sense of community and well being within the nursing profession.
