Executive Management Board

The Board of Directors of ADK Hospitals Pvt. Ltd. established an Executive Management Board (EMB) for ADK Hospital. The aim of this new structure is to strengthen the governance mechanism of the Hospital and its operations. The EMB will in future pass resolutions on the main governance and policy issues of the Hospital which in turn will be implemented in the process of management.

“Patients are entitled to good doctors. Good doctors make the care of patients their first concern; they are competent, keep their knowledge and skills up to date, establish and maintain good relationships with patients and colleagues, are honest and trustworthy and act with integrity.”

 

An eye towards the "Rights"

Nurses and health care workers are primarily responsible for protecting patients, and the relative’s rights. Nurses are personally accountable for their actions and omissions, regardless of advice or directions from other professionals. The only way to ensure that a nurse puts the patient first is by giving patients their rights.

 

New Chief Medical Officer

On August 7, 2012, Dr. Abdulla Niyaf joined the Hospital as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and will also practice in the pediatric department as Senior Consultant in Pediatrics. The services of Dr. Niyaf will have an immense positive effect on the pediatric department. The Management anticipates his valuable contributions in improving the quality of services at ADK Hospital.

 

NICU gets a needed uplift

The Hospital has now developed a plan to expand the neonatal care setup to a modern and highly sophisticated one. Initial plans have been drawn up and required equipment procurement is now being undertaken.
