Misu Mayumi arigatōgozaimasu

Two years back, ADK Hospital welcomed the first volunteer nurse, through a collaboration project with JOCV. The Japanese nurse, Mayumi sister spent the past two years, with the Hospital. She has completed her tenure and is set to leave the country to go back to Japan. It has been a great experience for the ADK Hospital’s Nursing Department to have her here.
 

Workshop on breast feeding practices for health professionals

ADK Hospital will collaborate with Addu City council to conduct a workshop of breast feeding practices for health professionals working in the province. The workshop will be held on 29 September 2012 at Addu City Hall. This collaboration is an effort by the ADK Hospital's paediatric department and the Addu Health Services.
 

State-of-the-art Digital Imaging Technology in Dentistry

ADK Hospital, for the first time in Maldives introduces state-of-the-art digital technology in dental x-rays. The Hospital thrives to innovate by introducing such technology that is safe and friendly both for the patients and for the staff.
 

Professional Development Programme

A short-term training on managerial excellence and client oriented service delivery was conducted for the staff of ADK hospital this year. This program was conducted in four batches over a period of four months with the broader aim of improving the quality of care provided to the patients accessing health care services from the hospital.

The hospital is currently seeking qualified candidates for the posts of Manager Corporate Affairs and Engineer. The deadline for application is 5:00pm on 8 September 2012.

We, at ADK hospital, began the celebration of nurses’ week with a healthy home-made breakfast on 6th May 2024. Invitees from all the departments of the hospital took part in this event. The essence of the event was to uplift the spirit of inclusivity, appreciate nurses and their contributions while fostering a sense of community and well being within the nursing profession.
