The Wellness Club - Opening

In partnership with Heat Investments PVT, on 6th of February 2023 The Wellness Club opened it’s doors to the general public. It is well equipped with a Gym, Group Fitness Programs, Mind & Body Classes as well as a Health Cafe’. TWC was opened by chief guest Minister of Youth, Ahmed Mahloof.

The opening ceremony started with the recitation of Quran. Followed by a speech from the Managing Director of ADK Hospital, Ahmed Afaal. In his speech he highlighted that the facility was opened to provide fitness services to patients after treatment and rehabilitation. He also mentioned that the facility was opened to encourage people to stay healthy and promote fitness.

A short video was also shown to the attendees of the event about the success of Heat. Moreover, a fitness demo was also given by the fitness instructors of Heat.

Minister Mahloof in his speech mentioned that the private sector has provided an all rounded service to the health sector. In addition to that he also stated that this service is very much needed to promote sports in Maldives and The Wellness Club will benefit the sports players greatly.

At the end of the opening ceremony, the attendees were given a tour of The Wellness Club where they were welcome to try out the new equipment.
