Obituary - Dr. Abishek Singh (1984 - 2014)

June 9, 2014

It is with our deepest sympathy and sadness that we mourn the unexpected and untimely passing away of Dr. Abishek Singh who had been working at ADK Hospital for past year. Dr Abishek was a young doctor, who was very enthusiastic, hard working and much liked by his patients and colleagues alike.

He suffered a heat stroke while taking part in the recent road race organized by DHIRAAGU on June 6, 2014. Initially he was treated in Maldives and passed away on his way to India for further treatment on June 8, 2014. His condition deteriorated during the flight leading to a cardiac arrest.

Dr Abishek had been working at ADK Hospital as an ENT Specialist for the last one year. The management and the staff of ADK Hospital convey deepest condolences to Dr Abishek's family. May he rest in peace.

The DHIRAAGU raod race is an annual event that many runners from different countries take part to create awareness on children's rights. Dr. Abishek also ran for this noble cause.

Dr Abishek will be remembered for his kindness to both patients and colleagues and his passing away is a loss to ADK Hospital and to all those patients who he had been seeing.
