FOCUS
Did you know that we tend blame each other for things that happen in the hospital? Knowingly or unknowingly this seems to be a phenomenon in many institutions. Where do we go by blaming each other? NOWHERE!
However, we can change our culture to a friendlier, learning one. Learn from one other. Talk about the problems we have. How do we do that? We FOCUS!
F Find an occurring problem that needs improvement.
O Organize with help from the management and the working team a process to improve the problem.
C Clarify what is already known or perceived about the problem.
U Understand any variations that occur from the way the process should be carried out.
S Select a method to improve the problem.
Implementing a focus methodology to the problems that we find in our institution will help all of us. It helps us to learn, think and develop the institute without blaming each other.
