Biography
Dr. Kiran Niraula is the Head of the Department of Neurosurgery and Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at ADK Hospital. With over 17 years of medical experience, including more than eight years as a qualified neurosurgeon, he specialises in the diagnosis and surgical management of complex brain and spine disorders.
Dr. Niraula completed his MS in Neurosurgery from King Edward Medical University, Pakistan, and further strengthened his academic expertise by obtaining an MPhil in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Bangladesh. He has also undergone advanced international training in vascular neurosurgery, advanced neurosurgical techniques, and endoscopic spine surgery. Having served patients in the Maldives for more than seven years, Dr. Niraula is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred neurosurgical care using the latest surgical techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes.
