Biography
Dr Abdulla Niyaf is a Senior Consultant Pediatrician and Neonatologist at ADK Hospital and serves as the hospital’s Chief Medical Officer. With extensive experience in hospital-based pediatrics, he is recognised as one of the pioneers of neonatal intensive care in the Maldives and has played a key role in developing and strengthening neonatal care services in the country. Dr Niyaf is also a resource person for several national health programmes, including neonatal care, immunisation, infant and young child nutrition, and dengue prevention and management. He previously served as President of the Maldivian Medical Association in 2016 and 2017.
