Anti-Microbial Awareness Week
We celebrated World Antimicrobial Awareness Week to make the public aware and understand the best practices for reducing the further emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance. To celebrate the week, activities were arranged at ADK Hospital.
On 20th November activities started off with a health education session. The purpose of this event was to spread awareness amongst the public. In addition to providing health education information, our team visited inpatient areas to education on the importance of AMR. Moreover, internal activities were arranged within the hospital. Such as hosting a quiz competition and clinical cases presented by our doctors.
The celebration of the week came to an end on 24th November. In the closing ceremony, certificates were distributed to the winners of the quiz competition.
